Legal Profession Act
 
The Legal Profession Act is the legislature that governs the legal profession in The Bahamas.  It specifically outlines what the Bahamas Bar Association is, it's responsibility, and how it should opertate.  Beyond that, it also governs the process of joining the Bar and the rights and liabilities of persons admitted to practice.  It lays out in detail the regulations that the Bar Association and its members must abide by and the consequences for breaking said regulations.  To peruse the Legal Profession Act in full, follow the link below.
