How Do I Apply to Join The Bahamas Bar?
There are two (2) forms of applying to The Bahamas Bar. The first is the Application for General Admission which is for Bahamian citizens seeking to join the Association. The second is the Application for Special Admission which is for foreign attorneys seeking to represent a client in the local court system. There are definitive differences between the two applications and the information required for processing. To assist both local citizens seeking to join the Bar and foreign attorneys seeking to provide counsel in our courts we have provided links to the requirements for each application below.
